Job Summary of Package Delivery Driver:

Sysco is looking for devoted Delivery Drivers to join our team. Responsibilities include effectively operating daily routes, loading and unloading packages, and ensuring top-notch customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Package Delivery Driver:

• Effectively managing routes by adhering to or surpassing allocated time schedules.
• Remove items from trailers by hand or with a handcart and place them in designated storage zones for customers.
• Perform the action of raising, exerting force, or relocating objects with a weight between 1 and 75 pounds, occasionally managing loads of up to 100 pounds.
• Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, addressing any discrepancies professionally.
• Respond to customer grievances with promptness and professionalism.
• Ensure appropriate handling of Sysco machinery, carry out pre and post-trip examinations in alignment with DOT rules and company regulations.

Qualifications and Experience of Package Delivery Driver:

• Successful completion of either a high school education or the GED program is mandatory.
• Ideal candidates will possess one year of experience in delivering routes or a suitable history of driving straight trucks. A Commercial Driver’s License of Class B is essential, though Class A is preferred.
• Capable of driving a vehicle in diverse environments and situations.
