Job Description of Financial Associate:
Join Charles Schwab’s service team to assist clients in securing their financial futures by educating them on investment strategies, trading instruments, and retirement decisions. Your role will involve providing top-notch customer support through incoming calls, taking responsibility for complex issues, and proposing customized solutions. The position offers comprehensive training and licensing opportunities through Schwab Service Academy, allowing you to acquire the Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Financial Associate:
- Provide clients with knowledge about investment methods, market principles, and planning for retirement.
- Assist clients with their inquiries and offer fixes for difficult issues.
- Guide individuals in leveraging Schwab’s financial tools and resources for their benefit.
- Demonstrate accountability in dealing with clients and providing timely follow-ups.
- Complete the Schwab Service Academy training for the purpose of obtaining the required licensure.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and remain agile in adapting to market dynamics.
Qualifications and Experience of Financial Associate:
- Candidates should be prepared to work full-time at the training site and adopt a hybrid schedule thereafter.
- Capability to adjust availability for different shifts, including weekends and overnight hours.
- Experience in servicing customers and building relationships with clients.
- A background in Finance, Economics, or similar fields at the Bachelor’s level is necessary.
- Eagerness to delve into the dynamics of the securities sector and its connection to financial markets.
- Excellent communication, influence, and troubleshooting competencies are required.
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer applications adeptly.
- Showing a mindset geared towards working together and an eagerness for team environments.

- During the training phase, the initial pay is $54,100, with a chance to elevate to $61,700 in the first year based on individual performance and successful attainment of licenses.
