Job Summary of Technical Support Technician:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Technical Support Technician:

• Independently install and activate AT&T’s technology at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical issues.
• Handle various installation tasks, including wiring, configuring networks, and testing equipment.
• Work at heights using ladders and in confined spaces when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to company safety protocols and industry standards.
• Engage with customers professionally, explaining features and answering inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report service issues.

Qualifications and Experience of Technical Support Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs, including ladders.
• Capability to work at heights of up to 28 ft.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, overtime, and emergency callouts.
• Basic understanding of cable and wire color codes.
• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments.

Salary:

• Hourly pay range: $12.80 - $29.06.
