Job Description of Client Advisor:

Become a valuable member of Charles Schwab’s customer support team and make a significant impact on assisting clients in reaching their financial aspirations. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on various investment approaches, trading instruments, and retirement plans, all while fostering reliable and enduring connections with clients. Through participation in the Schwab Service Academy (SSA), you will undergo thorough training, with the added advantage of receiving compensation for preparing for licenses such as the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and Series 63. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Client Advisor:

• Inform clients about various approaches to investing, tools for trading, and essential market principles.
• Handle incoming customer phone calls, address intricate problems, and offer customized resolutions.
• Create lasting and trustworthy connections with clients through active support and consideration of their requirements.
• Enroll in the Schwab Service Academy for the opportunity to gain financial certifications and licenses.
• Stay flexible and responsive to shifting client demands and fluctuations in the financial industry.
• Function effectively within a team environment while also being accountable for personal duties.
• Employ a variety of software systems to enhance the quality and precision of client assistance.

Qualifications and Experience of Client Advisor:

• Availability to work in person full-time at the Schwab Service Academy training program with the possibility of shifting to a combination of in-person and remote work.
• - Available to work a range of shifts, such as weekends, evenings, and overnight if required.
• A Finance, Economics, or a comparable field bachelor’s degree obtained from a recognized institution of higher education.
• Previous involvement in customer service or managing client relationships.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Keen interest in gaining knowledge about the securities market, encompassing stocks, derivatives, and investment pools.
• Proven ability to efficiently maneuver through various computer programs.

Benefits of the Position:

• The starting salary for training begins at $54,100 and has the potential to increase to $61,700 in the initial year, including both base pay and bonuses.
• An annual bonus equivalent to 10% of base salary and other qualifying income is available.
