Job Summary of Gas Maintenance Field Service Supervisor:

This position oversees repair equipment, including dispensers and underground storage tanks. The role includes supervising field service technicians, scheduling service activities, managing field operations, and ensuring high-quality technical support. The individual will rely on technical experience and leadership ability to accomplish operational goals in a 24x7 service environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Gas Maintenance Field Service Supervisor:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on fuel dispensers and underground storage systems.
• Supervise field technicians, assign jobs, and manage daily operations across service regions.
• Train and support field personnel in service procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate after-hours service schedules and manage emergency response logistics.
• Review work orders for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
• Ensure all service tools, vehicles, and equipment are operational and well-maintained.
• Approve payroll and conduct employee evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience of Gas Maintenance Field Service Supervisor:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of technical experience in the fuel service or related industry.
• Previous experience supervising field service technicians preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and mobile technologies.
• Experience with dispatching software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
