Job Summary of Forklift Operator:

Your duties will encompass providing support in warehouse operations, including tasks such as selecting items, packaging orders, assembling products, sorting goods, shipping, and receiving deliveries. This role is essential in meeting the productivity and quality objectives of the facility while ensuring smooth operations in a high-paced setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:

• Inspect production agendas, customer demands, job mandates, shipping requests, or requisition forms to identify the materials intended for movement or retrieval.
• Convey materials and objects from receiving or production spaces to designated storage places.
• Arrange and categorize inventory based on SKU, quantity, and type of product.
• Employ the use of specialized machinery like the electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift for product handling.
• Employ a safety harness while going up 25 feet on a cherry picker.
• Develop strong communication strategies to engage with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators effectively.
• Follow safety practices for truck and trailer transport operations.
• Systematically store and categorize items in specified warehouse zones.
• Administer company-provided gear, including personal protective equipment and voice communication devices.
• Raise awareness about safety hazards in the work environment.
• It is obligatory to dress in the prescribed company uniform when on duty.
• Collect products from stock to assemble and prepare for shipping to customers.
• Add identifying data to the pallets and open containers as needed.

Qualifications and Experience of Forklift Operator:

• - The position calls for a high school diploma or GED, or up to three months of relevant experience or training.
• Aptitude for managing an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
• Competent in using a cherry picker to ascend 25 feet while being safely harnessed.
• Demonstrates adeptness in communication and teamwork.
• Skill in managing tasks in a rapidly moving and physically rigorous workplace.

Salary:

• The pay rate on an hourly basis is $21.00
