Job Summary of Shipping Associate:

Your role will include providing support in warehouse functions by performing tasks such as selecting items, packaging orders, assembling products, organizing inventory, shipping items, and receiving deliveries. This position is essential in meeting the productivity and quality goals of the facility while ensuring efficient operations in a high-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shipping Associate:

• Review manufacturing agendas, customer orders, task lists, shipping instructions, or procurement requests to establish the items earmarked for movement or retrieval.
• Transport materials and items from receiving or manufacturing areas to allocated storage spaces.
• Categorize and arrange goods by SKU, quantity, and type of product.
• Utilize equipment like an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift for the movement of products as directed.
• Safely reach a height of 25 feet by using a safety harness on a cherry picker.
• Utilize clear and concise communication techniques when engaging with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators.
• Comply with safety guidelines for truck and trailer tow tasks.
• Categorize and place items in designated sections of the warehouse.
• Safeguard and manage company-provided gear, like personal protective equipment and voice communication devices.
• Speak up about safety hazards that need attention at work.
• The company requires employees to wear the provided uniform as outlined in the dress code policy.
• Assemble customer requests from the available stock and ready them for dispatch.
• Assign specific labels to pallets and open containers to facilitate easy recognition.

Qualifications and Experience of Shipping Associate:

• - A high school diploma or GED is mandated, or applicants should have completed one to three months of related training or experience.
• Skillful in operating both an electric pallet jack and vertical forklift.
• Expertise in using a cherry picker to ascend 25 feet, ensuring safety through the use of a harness.
• Excellent abilities in both communicating effectively and working collaboratively.
• Proficiency in adapting to the pace and physical requirements of a demanding work environment.

Salary:

• The remuneration for each hour is $21.00
