Job Summary of Delivery Service Driver:

As a Class C Special Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of different goods to customer destinations on specified routes. Although a Class A or B CDL is not a requirement, individuals with these licenses may have the opportunity to drive tractor-trailers on occasion. Building positive relationships with customers and meeting their needs with a positive demeanor are integral parts of the role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Delivery Service Driver:

• Efficiently operate a truck to transport items while maintaining safety standards.
• Hand-deliver products to customer locations.
• Nurture and preserve good relationships with clients.
• Ensure timely compliance with the designated route schedules.
• Observe all safety protocols and adhere to Sysco policies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience of Delivery Service Driver:

• Those under the age of 21 are not allowed to enter.
• It is essential to clear a drug screen before being hired.
• A Class C/Standard Operator Driver License is compulsory.
