Appliance Technician

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and appliances at the service center. The role involves completing service orders, providing repair estimates, researching product and part information, and determining warranty status.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate diagnoses and repairs of consumer electronics and appliances.
• Ensure proper documentation of service orders and repair details.
• Calculate estimates for non-warranty repairs and communicate costs to customers.
• Research part and product information to determine repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Perform repairs efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with retail store associates to provide product usage guidance and training.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge of common consumer electronics and appliances.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues at the modular level.
• Ability to read schematics and research part and product specifications.
• Basic PC skills, including navigation of service software and vendor websites.
• No minimum experience required; two years of technical experience preferred.
• Type I EPA Certification preferred for appliance technicians.

Salary:

• Hourly pay range: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour.*
