Job Summary of Day Picker:

You are responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient inventory management and order fulfillment processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Day Picker:

• Read production schedules, customer orders, or shipping orders to determine required materials.
• Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated locations.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, or product code.
• Store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms as needed.
• Assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information and maintain accurate records.
• Open bales, crates, and containers for inventory processing.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to maintain company standards.
• Assist in billing and documentation processes.

Qualifications and Experience of Day Picker:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
