Distribution Associate
Job Summary of Distribution Associate:
You will be involved in warehouse assistance by completing a variety of activities like selecting items, preparing packages, assembling products, categorizing items, shipping, and handling incoming orders. This position is crucial in achieving the efficiency and quality goals of the facility while maintaining effective operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Associate:
- Evaluate production schedules, customer orders, work instructions, delivery requests, or requisition forms to determine the items to be relocated or picked.
- Transfer goods and items from inbound or production regions to specified storage locations.
- Categorize and arrange goods by SKU, quantity, and type of product.
- Employ the use of both an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift for the transportation of products as necessary.
- Safely reach a height of 25 feet by using a safety harness on a cherry picker.
- Facilitate effective exchanges of information with individuals in roles such as receiving, driving, and operating forklifts.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols for truck and trailer pulling operations.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse compartments.
- Administer company-provided gear, including personal protective equipment and voice communication devices.
- Address and communicate safety concerns within the workplace.
- Employees must comply with the dress policy by donning the designated company uniform.
- Compile clients’ orders using available stock and organize for shipment.
- Apply identifying details to the pallets and open any containers if required for labeling.
Qualifications and Experience of Distribution Associate:
- - The position calls for a high school diploma or GED, or up to three months of relevant experience or training.
- Ability to operate both an electric pallet jack and vertical forklift.
- Demonstrating the ability to ascend to a height of 25 feet on a cherry picker with the necessary safety precautions, including a harness.
- Capable of effectively communicating and working in a team setting.
- Proficiency in adapting to the pace and physical requirements of a demanding work environment.

Salary:
- For every hour worked, the payment rate is $21.00
