Job Summary of Electrician:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Electrician:

• Perform maintenance on food preparation and holding appliances/equipment, ensuring they comply with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and other safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas and steam systems applied in commercial kitchen equipment.
• Read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents to perform repairs efficiently.
• Repair and maintain electrical circuits and motors, ensuring the safety and functionality of all equipment.
• Utilize meters, gauges, and other testing equipment to measure current, voltage, and amperage for accurate repairs.
• Evaluate the scope of a job, determine necessary parts and materials, and order through authorized vendors.
• Work independently or as part of a team, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while working in various conditions, including kitchens and industrial settings.

Qualifications and Experience of Electrician:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
• Ability to perform maintenance on kitchen appliances, circuits, and gas/steam systems.
• Technical competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents.
• Proficiency in the control and repair of circuits and motors, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to evaluate the scope of a job and determine necessary materials.
• Experience with common hand tools, meters, and gauges, as well as proficiency in basic math skills and understanding the National Electric Code.
• Stamina and physical ability to perform tasks, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs). Ability to work in all weather conditions and industrial environments.
• Must pass compliance and technical training to ensure accurate maintenance documentation.

Salary:

The pay rate for this role $38.48 to $46.85 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
