Job Summary of Sales Development Representative:
In our rapidly expanding organization, you will have a significant role in generating sales income by developing new business opportunities and increasing sales with current clients. Your tasks will involve selling top-quality products to a range of businesses including restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail outlets. As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing solid customer relationships, all while operating under a compensation model that consists of a base salary and commission.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Development Representative:
- Explore avenues for generating new sales while concurrently boosting sales performance with current customers.
- Build lists of potential patrons by leveraging a range of channels for customer identification.
- Undertake travels within the specified territory to acquire orders from both existing and potential clientele.
- Present and illustrate products through demonstrations or printed materials, focusing on their saleable characteristics.
- Provide pricing breakdowns, set credit terms, and execute sales agreements.
- Estimate the delivery timelines by reviewing the company’s production and transportation schedules.
- Generate business transaction reports and maintain accurate records of expenses.
- Ensure that account activity records are current by teaming up with inside sales representatives.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained while tracking and monitoring customer orders.
- Update the database with relevant customer and sales records.
- Establish and retain connections with purchasing contacts.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Development Representative:
- Experience in sales for 1-2 years is preferred for this role.
- Highly sought-after qualifications include hands-on experience in restaurants, food sales, professional catering, or working as a Chef.
- Energetic, upbeat attitude, and skilled at working within a team.
- Illustrating the ability to cultivate a welcoming environment and surpass predefined expectations to achieve goals.
- Exceptional at organizing tasks and managing various projects concurrently.
- Ability to effectively communicate through spoken and written language.
- A self-motivated learner who can swiftly adapt to challenges and produce results under pressure.
- While it is advantageous to hold a college degree, it is not a strict requirement.
- It is necessary to be within the designated geographic sales location for eligibility.

Salary:
