Production Picker
Job Summary of Production Picker:
Your main task involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products on site. This plays a crucial role in effective inventory management and the fulfillment of orders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Production Picker:
- Review production schedules, customer orders, or shipping manifests to identify necessary materials.
- Transfer materials from receiving points or production areas to specified storage locations.
- Set in order and arrange items on racks, shelves, or containers based on their dimensions, type, or identification code.
- Preserve perishable products in cold storage rooms as appropriate.
- Collect and organize customer selections for delivery.
- Apply identification data to items and manage thorough documentation.
- Break open bales, crates, and containers in preparation for inventory handling.
- Assess or enumerate goods for dispersal to uphold company benchmarks.
- Aid with the procedures for invoicing and record-keeping.
Qualifications and Experience of Production Picker:
- Candidates who possess a high school diploma or GED are preferred.
- To be eligible, candidates must have undergone between one to three months of relevant experience or training, or a parallel blend of education and practical exposure.
- Demonstrates proficiency in time management and organization.
