Job Summary of Express Delivery Driver:

Sysco is seeking dependable Delivery Drivers to join our team. The role involves effectively managing daily routes, handling package loading and unloading, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Express Delivery Driver:

• Accomplishing route tasks by adhering to or exceeding planned time constraints.
• Remove cargo from trailers manually or with a handcart and deposit it in assigned customer storage areas.
• Hoist, exert, or displace objects that weigh from 1 to 75 pounds, with regular instances of managing a weight of up to 100 pounds.
• Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, addressing any discrepancies professionally.
• Provide efficient and professional assistance in resolving customer complaints.
• Adhere to proper handling practices for Sysco equipment, carry out pre-departure and post-arrival checks following DOT regulations and Sysco policies.

Qualifications and Experience of Express Delivery Driver:

• A high school diploma or GED is a prerequisite for consideration in this opportunity.
• The position requires candidates to have one year of experience in route delivery or a similar role that involves driving straight trucks. Holding a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License is mandatory, with Class A being the preferred license.
• Proficient in maneuvering a vehicle under different circumstances.
