Job Summary of Warehouse Janitor:

Your role is to uphold cleanliness standards in the warehouse and office spaces so that they are consistently organized and ready for everyday functions to take place. This position necessitates precision and competence in handling cleaning products and tools responsibly, while also being willing to tackle minor maintenance responsibilities when called upon.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Janitor:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and discard waste, consolidating it for the weekly trash collection.
  • Keep restrooms clean and serviced on a regular basis.
  • Ensure a clean atmosphere by consistently sanitizing walls, racks, and tools.
  • Combine specified amounts of water, detergents, or acids to make cleaning solutions.
  • Utilize commercial cleaning tools to refurbish the interiors of buildings effectively.
  • Manage the cleaning of surfaces by applying solvents, using brushes, wiping with cloths, and utilizing power cleaning equipment.
  • Observe the necessary cleaning and safety procedures to prevent any potential damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Protect the building by securely locking all doors after business hours.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
  • Notify managers promptly about any significant system faults or repair work that needs immediate attention.
  • Eliminate snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots by employing snow blowers or shovels.
  • Manage the setup, layout, and removal of decorations, chairs, tables, and related items during events.
  • Experience is preferred or the opportunity to be certified is essential for using a Rider Jack.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Janitor:

  • - To be eligible, candidates must have either a high school diploma or GED, or have completed 1-3 months of relevant training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical knowledge.
