Job Summary of Stockroom Associate:
Your role entails managing the reception, storage, and allocation of materials, tools, equipment, and products in the workplace. This function is crucial for maintaining efficient inventory control and ensuring orders are processed promptly.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Stockroom Associate:
- Scrutinize manufacturing schedules, customer orders, or shipment itineraries to ascertain essential materials.
- Move items from receiving areas or production zones to designated storage spots.
- Set in order and arrange items on racks, shelves, or containers based on their dimensions, type, or identification code.
- Keep perishable items in refrigerated compartments as necessary.
- Organize and assemble customer orders for shipping.
- Label items with distinguishing characteristics and ensure records are precise.
- Untie bales, open crates, and unpack containers to support inventory procedures.
- Weigh or enumerate products for allotment to maintain corporate standards.
- Aid in the documentation and invoicing tasks.
Qualifications and Experience of Stockroom Associate:
- Preference will be given to those with a high school diploma or GED.
- This role necessitates one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to qualify for consideration.
- Demonstrates proficiency in time management and organization.
